Philadelphia Soccer 2026

Embedded Community Coverage · FIFA World Cup 2026

This didn't start with the tournament. It started months before it — in rec centers and university atriums, on street corners with paint cans and trash bags, in packed happy hours where community leaders and business owners talked about what it meant for Philadelphia to host the world. Taíno Studios was brought in by Philadelphia Soccer 2026's community impact team to document all of it, from the first community gathering to the last day of 39.

The work spans the full range of what embedded community coverage actually means when a global sporting event comes to a city — happy hours with the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, an MLK Day clean-up with the Philadelphia Union, the Rising Stars program graduation, a mural painting day with Pan American Academy students, media previews at Lincoln Financial Field, the 100-day pep rally, and Day 1 of the Fan Festival — where Taíno Studios was simultaneously on assignment for Philadelphia Soccer 2026 and Impacto Media. Images from Day 1 were distributed across Philadelphia Soccer 2026's platforms and the official City of Philadelphia social channels.

We were in the trenches documenting all of it. The whole arc, not just the highlight reel.
